Your focus gets lost between tabs.
Copy the message. Open a chat. Explain the context. Copy the result back. One reply becomes a detour.
Highlight text in a supported app and pick a mode from the toolbar beside it: reply, improve, check, translate, summarize, explain, or a prompt of your own. Edit the result before you use it.

Hi Alex, I’ve attached the revised proposal with the updated timeline. Could you review the scope and send any comments by Thursday afternoon?
A better writing workflow
The hard part should be what you want to say. Not moving text between tools to say it.
Copy the message. Open a chat. Explain the context. Copy the result back. One reply becomes a detour.
You know the answer. Finding the right tone and the right words is what slows you down.
A typo, an awkward sentence, another language. Each one takes you away from the conversation.
How it works
Select text, open ReplyNav with the toolbar or your shortcut, and choose what to do with it.
Thank you for the updated proposal. Could you confirm whether post-launch support is included? We’ll share our feedback by Thursday afternoon.
Selected in Mail. Open ReplyNav to choose a mode.
Modes
Choose a mode to see what it produces from a real selection. The toolbar offers the last one you used first, and the rest are one click away.

Contextual replies
ReplyNav starts from the message you selected, not from an empty prompt where you have to explain everything. It adds the tone, length, and language you chose, and your personal context if you filled it in.
Quick one: the design handover slipped again and QA starts Monday. Can we still hit the release date, or should I warn the stakeholders today?
I would warn them today rather than wait. With the handover slipping and QA starting Monday, the release date is at risk, and I do not want to confirm it before I have seen where QA lands. I will give you a clearer answer after the first test run on Monday.
The selected text is captured as data and fenced off, so instructions inside a message cannot redirect the model.
Agree, decline, ask a question, or propose an alternative, and add a date or reason where one is needed.
Add earlier messages to the context from the toolbar, so a reply answers the whole thread and not only its last line.
Make the draft shorter, softer, more specific, or less formal without starting over. Earlier versions stay one click away.
Quick actions, optional
With nothing selected, a small toolbar appears beside supported text fields on Windows and macOS. One click corrects, improves, or translates the whole field and puts the result back where it was.
Hi Tom, i wanted to reach out regarding the quaterly report. We was unable to finish the review yesterday, we will send it tomorow.
Pick text on macOS
When text cannot be selected, Pick text lets you click a text block or draw an area for local OCR. Capture several pieces in order, then use them as text or context.
Text mode reads text exposed through macOS Accessibility. Area mode uses local OCR on the region you draw and requires Screen Recording permission.
Make it yours
ReplyNav adapts to the way you write: prompts of your own beside the built-in modes, a shortcut for each mode, colour themes, and personal context it uses only where it helps.
System, Light, and Dark themes are included for everyone. Darcula, Ember, Lagoon, Parchment, and Grove are part of Pro. Choose one to preview it in the app.

First launch
Choose a cloud provider and enter your own API key, or, on a Mac with Apple Intelligence, use the model built into macOS with no key at all.
Select a provider to preview setup
Enter your key in the desktop app. This is a preview.
Keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain.
Model names, availability, and provider pricing change often, so they are not listed here. Check your provider for current details.
Free and Pro
The everyday modes work without a licence. Pro adds the modes, models, and options that heavy writers reach for, and a licence key activates it in Settings.
Everything you need for everyday writing.
For people who write all day.

Privacy and control
In plain words, and only what ReplyNav actually does:
Selecting text, typing, and hovering send nothing. A request starts only when you choose a mode or a quick action.
ReplyNav sends the selected text and your settings only to the AI provider you connected, using your own key. With Apple Intelligence, the text never leaves your Mac.
API keys are kept in Windows Credential Manager or the macOS Keychain, with a DPAPI-encrypted fallback for your user account where Credential Manager is unavailable.
It produces drafts. Pressing send in your mail or chat app stays your action.
With Pro, ReplyNav’s windows can be kept out of screenshots and screen shares that respect the system’s capture protection.

Something not answered here? hello@replynav.com
A small desktop application for Windows and macOS that works on the text you select in another app. A toolbar appears beside the selection, and a global shortcut opens the same window: reply, improve, check writing, translate, summarize, explain, carry out a request, or run a prompt of your own, then edit the result before you use it. It runs from the system tray or the menu bar. It is not a chatbot: each answer stands on its own.
It is designed to work wherever you can select text, including mail, chat, browsers, and editors. Compatibility depends on the editor and on how it behaves with the operating system accessibility APIs, so it is not guaranteed for every application or every field. When capture does not work, ReplyNav opens anyway and gives you a paste field, and you can always copy the result and paste it yourself.
No. ReplyNav writes drafts. It never presses send in your mail or chat application. Inserting a result back into the field you came from is a separate action you choose each time, and Copy always works.
DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and Grok, each with your own API key on your own provider account, so usage is billed to you directly rather than through ReplyNav. On a Mac with macOS 26 or newer that supports Apple Intelligence, you can also use the model built into macOS: no key, no account, and the text stays on your Mac. Model availability and pricing change often, so check your provider for current details.
The free version covers everyday writing: six of the seven modes, quick actions, three tones, the standard model of each provider, and Apple Intelligence. Pro adds Explain, prompts of your own, every model, three more tones, context saved for each conversation, more themes, and hiding ReplyNav from screen sharing. A licence key activates Pro in Settings.
Right after checkout the page shows your licence key, and the same key arrives by email. Open ReplyNav, choose Settings → About, paste the key and choose Activate. Pro unlocks at once, works on the computers you use yourself, and has no expiry. Lost the email? The site can send the key again to the address you bought with.
Yes, with Pro. Give a prompt a name, an icon, and an instruction in Settings → Prompts, and it appears in the toolbar menu and in the mode list beside the built-in modes. You can write prompts without a licence; running them needs one, and the prompts you wrote are kept.
Yes. Quick actions start switched off. The selection toolbar can be turned off for an hour, for one application, or everywhere, from its own menu, the tray menu, or Settings. The global shortcut keeps working either way.
Yes. ReplyNav runs on macOS 14 or newer as well as Windows, with the same toolbar, modes, and quick actions. On macOS it lives in the menu bar and stores keys in Keychain. It asks for Accessibility access to read selected text and show the toolbar. Pick text’s Area mode also asks for Screen Recording access and recognizes the area you draw locally. Apple Intelligence needs macOS 26 or newer.
ReplyNav is free to download and use, and Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription that unlocks the features listed above. Refunds are available for 14 days. Beyond that, it is a client for the AI provider you choose: with a cloud provider you supply your own API key, and whatever that provider charges for your requests is billed to your account with them, not to us. Apple Intelligence costs nothing to use.
It tells you, instead of failing quietly. If the selection cannot be read, the window still opens with a paste field so you can continue by hand. If a result cannot be inserted, for example into an application running with elevated rights, ReplyNav reports that and offers Copy instead. Where a quick action cannot replace the text safely, it offers the corrected text to copy rather than writing into a field it cannot verify.
Install it, connect a provider once, and work from the toolbar or the shortcut.
Finding the right installer…
Detection can be imperfect. Every available installer is listed below.
Free to download and use; Pro features need a licence. Cloud providers bill usage to your own account, and Apple Intelligence on a supported Mac costs nothing.
